January 26 Update

Dear Senior Honors Choir,

I am looking forward to our rehearsal this week, as we will be able to continue working on our newer pieces, but also join the JHC for a portion of the time to work on Sing Out My Soul, and And I Can Sing. Sopranos and Altos will work with Ms. Rachel Morgan Im and the Tenors and Basses will work with me. 

As we continue to prepare Finn’s piece Desafinado here is a link to a short playlist that shows the inspirations behind his writing process, as well as a link to the recording we listened to on Sunday (it is the recording with all parts together for now). 

This Sunday I will be pushing you hard when it comes to sound, accuracy, trying to finish the rest of our pieces as quickly as possible. As a heads up, we will use our February 11th date as the “part check” rehearsal we discussed earlier this month. We will discuss further on Sunday.
