Performing Choirs: Junior Honors Choir and YCHC’s new Elementary Choir
Date: Sunday, March 24
Location: The Pullo Performing Arts Center - JHC singers should enter the Upper Pullo Entrance off of Ablemarle Street (entrance shown in picture above). As soon as you walk through the glass doors, enter the first door on the left, labeled “Rehearsal Studio.”
Call Time: JHC singers report to the Rehearsal Studio by 12:45pm. It is important to be on time. JHC and EC both have to complete warmups, sound checks, professional photo shoots, finale practice, and repertoire reviews before the house opens for audience seating.
Wear: Wear your JHC concert uniform. Style your hair away from your face. Do not wear strong scents.

Bring: water and, if desired, a light snack
Concert Tickets: This is a ticketed event. Seats are $12. Click here to purchase tickets. Invite your family and friends!
Concert Start Time: The house will open for audience seating at 3:00pm. The concert will begin at 3:30pm.

What to practice: Especially review “Inveniam Viam,” as there were some memorization holes at our last rehearsal. Also, check dynamic markings through all songs. Review ALL of your music several times each week leading up to the concert to keep the music fresh in your mind and to continue to refine your expressive delivery of the text. This is the only way that you will perform well and contribute positively to the success of the whole group. You have come so far as a musical team since the beginning of the season. I’m looking forward to what we can accomplish TOGETHER at our first concert!
