Dear Junior Honors Choir Members and Families,
NYC Permission Slip & Payment – DUE SATURDAY
If you are signed up to attend our June 28th trip to NYC, please print and fill out this PERMISSION SLIP. Bring your completed permission slip and $100 payment to rehearsal on Saturday!
YCHC Finale Weekend: Saturday, June 3rd – Rehearsal and Open House
Freshmen-only Event: 12:00pm (see email for details)
JHC Finale Rehearsal: 2:00-4:15pm
Enter at the Philadelphia Street door of the Appell Performing Arts Center, and Logistics Coordinators will direct you to the rehearsal space.
YCHC 25th Anniversary Open House Celebration: 4:30pm
All current singers, alumni, and families are invited to enjoy some food and fun at York Central Market House in celebration of our organization’s 25th year! Light refreshments will be provided. Central Market is right next door to the Appell Center. PARENTS, if your singer will attend the open house, you can pick them up from rehearsal and take them there, or you can allow them to walk over with Ms. Im to meet you there. Please instruct your child what you would like them to do.
Attire: Wear your YCHC t-shirt on June 3rd.
Candid Photos: We will have a photographer snapping candid shots of us during our rehearsal and the celebration.
Formal Photos: On March 12th, a photographer took formal photos of our choir. Each JHC singer will receive one 8x10 formal photo for free. These will be distributed at the rehearsal.
YCHC Finale Weekend: Sunday, June 4th – Concert
Location: Appell Center for the Performing Arts
Call Time: 1:50pm
Concert Time: 4:30pm (house opens at 3:45pm)
Uniform: Wear your concert uniform; make sure it is wrinkle-free. Wear your black closed-toe dress shoes. If you’re wearing a dress, wear black knee-highs/tights/pantyhose with your shoes; if you’re wearing pants, wear black crew socks (no ankle socks or no-shows) with your shoes.
Hair and Jewelry: Hair must be combed back away from your face. Jewelry should be limited (small stud earrings and small plain rings are OK, but no necklaces or bracelets).
Scents: Deodorant is a must. 😀 But, please avoid strong-smelling perfumes/colognes.
Water/Snack: Bring your water bottle! If desired, bring a small snack that can be eaten quickly.
Guests: Invite family and friends to our concert!!! Audience members can CLICK HERE to purchase tickets.
