November 15 Update

Dear Senior Honors Choirs,

Thank you for your patience in waiting for this newsletter. I have been in the midst of our tech week for my school’s Fall musical. I am looking forward to seeing all of you on Sunday, and performing for our friends and family. 

A reminder that we will be taking our official 2023-2024 picture on Sunday at 2:15pm. Please arrive a few minutes early so that you can check in and get settled before our picture. Promptly after the picture we will proceed to do our warm-ups, run through our pieces, rehearse Why We Sing with the Junior Honors Choir, and then we’ll open the doors for our audience. The program for the concert will be as follows:

• We Are the Music Makers

• We Remember Them

• Bring Me All Your Dreams

• In Remembrance

• As Long As I’m Singing

• What A Wonderful World

Please, spend some time listening to the What a Wonderful World rehearsal track before Sunday. We will try to do it A Cappella, but Dr. O is ready to play with us if needed. The JHC will sing one of their selections and then we will all sing the tag for Why We Sing together. 

There will be a soloist selected for Sunday’s performance of What a Wonderful World during our rehearsal. If you are interested in auditioning for it, please come prepared to do so.
