Great job!

At our last rehearsal, we checked parts for all of the songs. I was so proud of everyone that you came prepared knowing your pitches and rhythms! This will allow us to really make some beautiful music together this season. Great job!

WHAT TO PRACTICE — due January 21st

Continue reviewing and solidifying pitches and rhythms for all songs.

  • “All the Pretty Little Horses” (whole song)

  • “Defying Gravity” (whole song, except for the verses, which are solos)

  • “Dreams of the Dreamer” (whole song)

  • “Hine Ma Tov” (whole song)

  • “Hold Fast to Dreams” (whole song - FROM MEMORY)

  • “Inveniam” (whole song)

  • “Together” - SSAB divisi! (whole song)

    • Special Note: When you get to measure 28 (bottom of page 9), the music jumps back to measure 13 (top of page 6). Then, when you finish measure 23 that second time around, the music jumps ahead to the Coda on the top of page 10.

    • Solo (if possible): Click here and listen to timestamp 2:04-2:36 to practice some vocal runs with the song if you want to audition for a solo

  • “Why We Sing” - SATB divisi! (whole recording… it is cut to just m.72-end - FROM MEMORY)
