ABOUT OUR ELEMENTARY CHOIR
The Elementary Choirs (EC) is for singers in grades 5 and 6, representing schools and communities across York County.
The EC aims to bring together 5th and 6th grade students for vocal education and performance. The goal is to foster student interest in music and performance, and introduce them to higher level opportunities within the YCHC.
The EC’s inaugural year is 2023-2024, under the direction of Michal Buchanan.

Tuition is $85, payable at the first rehearsal (Saturday, March 2). A black polo shirt will be provided; balance of concert attire is black and provided by the singer.
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Michal Buchanan, Elementary Honors Choir director, has taught general music, public and private piano lessons, and directed public school choirs for more than 30 years.
